Intensive Engagement
Shaping a brighter future for Tipton
Gospel Oak School is proud to be working with Intensive Engagement and wider community connectors to deliver an exciting community project.
The project has brought together community leaders across Sandwell and the Black Country, with an aim to invest in young people, raise aspirations and strengthening their role within our community. Ultimately our goal is to foster a thriving and resilient community where everyone feelS empowered to contribute.
Why we are embarking on the project
Our community in Tipton faces challenges, including youth disengagement, safety concerns and limited economic prospects for families. These issues not only impact the attendance, attainment and behaviour in schools but also impact the wider community. These challenges present us with an opportunity to come together and create meaningful change.
Gospel Oak School, along with the Central Region Schools Trust, are committed to developing an inclusive community focused on people, places and processes, which fully encompasses our distinctive culture.
